The Viceroy, the Governors and the Executive Council of the natives welcomed the King and Queen at Delhi station. Troops lined the rout? of tho pruirpFsion to "Delhi Fort, whera tha chiefs received Their Majesties.

There was then a State eniry at the Colhi gate, the King riding alone on a bay charger, and tho Queen in the State carriage. The procession circled Jumamasjid and thence proceeded to Chaiulniciiowk. Guns were booming throughout the day. At a pavilion on the ridge Mr J. L Jenkins, a member of the Indian Council, on behalf of 200 representatives of British India, presented an address before Their Majesties entered thy camp- The King replied amid tumultuous enthusiasm, paying tributes to tha valued experience of the members of tho Legislative Council and British India's chosen representatives.
