Christchurch, Nov. 29. The body of a middle aged man, well dressed, was found in the river in the Domain this morning. The body lias been identified as that of Andres Dudgen Purves. A boy named Frank Williamson, aged 17, is in the Hospital with a revolver Ini'let in his head. He was shooting birds with the weapon, and had been ordered by his parents to return it to the shop where he bought it. It is supposed that he was looking down the barrel when the revolver w.ent off. The bullet lodged near the eye, but it is not known yet whether the wound will prove serious.
