AVOID OPERATIONS.

Extract from London "Medical Magazine" for May, 1910:—"Tkese ferments, obtained from the papaw, are made up in the form of an ointment and gargle, and are recommended as an application to enlarged glandular tissuos, tumours and ulcarations. Tho present . preparation seemß to combine the most activo ferments of the plant in a successful manner. Its activity was demonstrated by several cases of hypertrophy of the turbinal bodies, and in cases of enlarged tonsils. . After three or four weeks' application thero waß very, very marked improvement. There can be no doubt that the preparation is unusually effective, and should prove very serviceable, obviating the necessity for operative procedures in many cases. Such operative procedures are often adopted much too hastily. The present ferments are well deserving of a trial, and in many cases we have no doubt the result will be satisfactory." Papaw Ointment. 1/6 (for ulcers, tumours, goitre and poisoned wounds): Papaw Papayate, 2s 6d (for nasal catarrh); Papaw Tonic, 2/6; Papaw Pile Cure, 2b 86". Wholesale: J. H. Cock and On .TW.
