MR. ATMORE'S MISTAKE,

Mr. John Graham, who has represented Nelson in Parliament during the past eighteen years as a supporter of the Liberal Party and who has now retired from active po'.itics, was interrogated by a "Colonist" representative yesterday in regard to a statement made by Mr. Atmoro at his meeting on Tuesday evening that written pledges wero now demanded so that a vote could bo depended upon if the Government's position was endangered. Mr. Graham gave tho statement an emphatic, denial, and said that he had never been asked for such a pledge; he had never givon ono, nor had lie ever heard of any member being asked for such a pledge.
