While trying to pull a hare- out of a log, William Henry Brazier, aged 14, of Aberfoyle, Armidalo, N.S.W., was last week bitten by a tiger snake on the hand. He was conveyed to the Armidalo Hospital, where ho died.

The Southland Charitable Aid Board's income during October was £1930 19s sd, and its expenditure £1415 86 sd. and the bank balance on October 31st showed a credit of £4049 19s sd.
