London, Nov 23. The report of the Port of London Authority for last year, shows a surplus of revenue over expenditure of £952,591. Tho increase of imports over, exports for tho year totalled £38,000,000, the greatest progress being in the meat trade. The Port Authority, with a view to meeting Now Zealanders's representations, has decided to enlarge tiro scheme of reconstruction south of the West India dock, to render it accessible to vessels 650 feet in length, but before the construction of costlj' depots and railway equipment the Authority will require to bo satisfied that the proposed transfer of the meat trade to this dock will be acceptable to all concerned.
