Pride of place should perhaps bo given to "The Captain's Brides" a powerful drama, full of exciting incidents, while "an Indian's Nemesis" proved a thrilling story of the wild West. "A Prophet of the Korosan" was an old world, story by the Cines Company. T|io scenic section was represented by "The Town of Ercwan," in which was depicted many and interesting views of the picturesque town of that name in Persia. "Life in an Aquarium" was a novel study of piscatorial life. The programme included a number of side splitting comics. "A Woman's Voice" (a new departure in this direction), "Bill as a Bill Poster," and "A Hungry Pair" caused roars of laughter. The orchestra added materially to the pleasure of tho pictures by playing some excellent music. To-night the programme will be repeated, when another large audience may bo looked for.
