The committee stage of the National Insurance Bill has been completed. An amendment making the domestic servants clauses optional was negatived by IM2 votes to 95, "but Mr. Lloyd George promised to embody Mr Hill's suggestion to give servants the option of sick pay, free medical attendance, or superannuation and invalidity benefits.
