The following is the Rev. D. 6. Batos' weathor forecast and summary The secondary cyclone which yesterday passed through Cook Strait ceased to affect the weather to-day, and the developing westerly disturbance still dominates the general conditions. Eain has fal.cn in many parts, and a heavy thunderstorm with hail occurred inland in the south to-day. The barometer is still very low in the southern districts. Present indications are for a high westerly wind, with a southerly tendency, and a change may be oxpecfed soon from that quarter. Unsettled, showery, and colder weather is probable generally, and a rising barometer everywhere shortly.
