AN INTERESTING POINT.

(Special to "The Colonist.")

Christchurch, Nov 22

An interesting point regarding electoral law was raised by Mr David 'ones in his address in the King's Theatre last evening. Mr Jones said it was reported that a largo number of young men in tho Addington workshops had refused to enrol under tho compulsory defence scheme. It was clearly laid down by law that any person refusing to enrol would bo disfranchised. Was that going to be carried out. He believed that many of the elections would be upset bocause young men would vote who by this law were disfranchised.
