Regarding the cable messages rereferring to the appeal for £15,000 for the British Antarctic expedition,,Mr J. J. Kinsey states that originally the funds were insufficient. The present appeal is for the general purposes of the expedition. The statement that the amount required was wanted in connection with repairs to the Terra Nova was ridiculous.
