London, Kov 12. The departure of the King and Queen for India was marked by an enthusiastic demonstration. Hie route whs crowded and their ..iajcstics were loudly cheered. Ministers of the Crown, Foreign Ambassadors, ■ bir George Reid, Sir William Hall Jones and 300 notables bade tho King and Queen farewell at Victoria Station. The P. and 0. Company's steamer ♦Medina, with their Majesties aboard left Portsmouth in the afternoon ami the flppt nt Spithoad saluted. The First Division of tho Home Fleet accompanied the Medina down th« Channel, providing a fine spectacle.
