Auckland, Nov 13

A fire in Cambridge at 4 o'clock yesterday morning, totally destroyed the Masonic Hotel . The inmates escaped with great difficulty. Tho owner of the hotel was Mi. Victor Cornaga, of Auckland, and tho occupier Mr. W. King. The loss above tho insurance is considerable. The building, which is of 21 rooms, was insured for .£IOOO in the Now Zealand and Commercial Union Co. and the stock and furniture for £700 in the United. 'I'hr whole of King's belonging were uninsured and ho loses from £1200 to €1500. Other occupants wore considerable losers.
