Everything has a beginning. It was the failure of certain milking machines to "make good" that started Mr Ridd experimenting until he produced the Ridd with its tattering teat cup. Throe hard ribs of rubber running vertically from top to bottom inside the cup crip the teat like finirers pressing all the milk out. In a letter of appreciation Mr E. Rye, of Ohino, says: "Agents have brought me other teat cuns for a trial, which I have used for a few milkines only. lam in a position to say "Tho !Ridd' is altogether a superior milker. From first to the present time— nearly two years—everything ha? run like clockwork. The Wnt.t's oil engine is a "nrfeot worker nndor almost any conditions."
