WEATHER FORECAST.
Wellington, Sept. 29. The following is tbo Rev. D. G. Bates' weather forecast and summary ■ The barometer has risen in tin? south, but has fallen -slowly in tho northern districts. Rain has fallen in most parts of the country, and snow and hail in tho south. Southerly winds have prevailed strong to gale in parts. Present indications are for strong southerly winds, cold and showery weather, and a slowly rising barometer, but a fall will probably follow shortly.
