Etxract from London "Medical Magazine" for May, 1910:—"These ferments, obtained from tho papaw, aro made up in the form of an ointment and gargle, and are recommended as an application to enlarged glandular tissues, tumours and ulcerations. Tho present preparation seems to combine tho most active ferments of tho plant in a successful manner. Its activity was demonstrated by several cases of hypertrophy of the turbinal bodies, and in cases of enlarged tonsils. After three or four weeks' application there was very, very marked improvement. There can be no doubt that tho preparation is unusually effective, and should prove very serviceable, obviating tho necessity for operative procedures in many cases. Sue/i operative procedures are often adopted much too hastily. The present, ferments aro well deserving of a trial, and in many cases we have no doubt tho result will bo satisfactory." Papaw Ointment, 1/6 (for ulcers, tumours, goitre and poisoned wounds): Papaw Papayato, 2s 6d (for nasal catarrh) ; Papaw Tonic, 2/6; Papavr Pile Cure. 2s 6d. Wholesale: J. B-, .Cock ana Co., Ltd..
