ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The annual general meeting of til Nelson Rowing Club was held in Me. ccr's room last evening.. Mr. E. h Cresswell presided over a large atendance of members. Armstrong, Shvi wood, F. Hunter, Doughty, Hesloj: Muntz, Bendall, Smal.bone, Parmei tor, Pauling, Scott, Ellis, Scannei. Topliss, Kidson, Stringer, Hortoil Harford, Scarfe, Van der Burgh, an Emerson. The election of officers resulted a follows: President, Dr. Andrew; vice presidents: Messrs. W. W. Squire P. Giblin, F. H. Richmond, J. H Cock, E. S. Cresswell, W. Rogers, \\ W. do Castro, F. W. Hamilton, W. 1 Smith, T. A. H. Field and ThoNcale; Captain, Mr. F. McCalx deputy-captain, Mr. F. H. Beit) waite ; secretary, Mr. B. Bird; tre.r urer, Mr. G. Chapman; auditor, MF. H. Giblin; committee: Messrs. N Kerr, L. Baigent, G. Stewart, V Batchelor and G. Mills; match cop mittee, the captain, and Messrs. ? Korr and B. Bird. It was decided to open the seaso on Saturday, 14th October, and to a?1 the pilot, and all local yachtsmen ayI motor boat owners to co-operate. Mr. E. S.
