Tnere is much adverse Criticism and iiiatly indignant protests are tittered by th© press and public men regarding Mr. Fisher's "Review of Reviews" interview. It is claimed that it is a misrepresentation of Australian aims toft feelings ;while others characterise Jt as a disgrace td Australia and herefiy'. ..-,. .■■:•■' ;■■■'.■ ■ , The British Empire League, at a after hearing strong speeches decided to cable to London emphatically repudiating the allegation of disloyalty against the Australian people. It was also decided to arrange a demonstration of protest. Several Labour members have condemned Mr. Fisher's utterances.
