There is a much smaller volume of New Zealand fruit arriving, aixl the market has greatly improved. Island oranges are selling at 5s to 6s; bananas 4s to 8s; mandarins ts; lemons 10s; Winter Nelis pears 10s it. 12s per half case, apples cookers, 5s fxl to Gs 6d; Cambridge pippins 6s ?.d to 7s 6d; Stunners 7s to 8s 6d. Hotliouso tomatoes B.Jd per lb; putnp*iiis Gs per sack; cauliflowers 12s to 2?s; cabbages 6s to 10s; celery 3s per dozen ; lettuce 3s 6d per case; Eggs Is 2d per doz; fowls 3s to 4s. Walnuts s£d per lb.
