MATCHES AT MELBOURNE.

Melbourne, July 22.
Stevenson and Recce have commenced a billiard match, 12,000 up, Roece receiving 2000. There is also much interest in a match which has been arranged between Stevenson and Lindrum, 16,000 up, Lindrum receiving 2000. In an exhibition match 1600 up, Beece defeated Lindrum by 24.
