WEATHER FORECAST

Wellington, July 11. The following is the Rev. D. C. Bates' weather forecast and summary . The barometer has had a falling tendency everywhere but under the influence of a second area of low pressure advancing winds have moderated, and the lainfall decreased. To-day northerly winds moderate to strong have pre.-ailed in the far north, easterly thence to Cook Strait, and variable winds elsewhere. Present indications are for cloudy and unsettled weather with raiu iii most parts of the country. The winds are. variable, west after about twenty hours, when a further fall in the barometer is due to take place.
