Reefton, July 11. The, sensation of tnc Jiour is the news of a find of stone at Billot's anri Bierworth's claim at Devil Creek neai Itoefton. magnificent specimens being obtained which are expected to go 80 ounces to 100 ounces per ton. The "Inangahua Tiires" reportthat arrangements have boon made with a Greymouth syndicate for cash and shares.' A rumour states that the price ran into several -Oiousands. Energetic steps are being taken to develop the mine at once. The Inglewood mines management has appointed Mr. W. Annear mine manager and intends taking steps to develop this property, which was paying when abandoned. The shaft is to be sunk deeper. The Reefton dredge Paetolus won 28 ounces in 128 hours.
