Continuous steady rain fell at Wellington to-day, and considerably hampered cargo handling. Departures cf the following vessels were postponed till to-morrow: The Rosamond, for Onehunga, via ports ; the Koonya, for New Plymouth and West Coast; the Haupiri, for Picton, East Coast, and Auckland; the Kiripaka, for AVangarnii and Patoa; the Tongariro fov Lyttelton and Dunedin; the- Acre re for Paten; the Wakatu, for Kaikoura and Lyttelton ; the Queen of the South, for Foxton ; the Opawa, for Blenheim ; the Moa for Wanganui; and the Blenheim, for Blenheim.
