THREE INCHES AT MASTERTON.
Masterton, July 10. Very heavy and incessant rain has fallen in this district during tlie last twenty-four hours, nearly three inches being registered. Most of the rivers are in a high state of flood, and slips have come down in" parts, but no serf ous damage is reported.
