Retiring allowances amounting to £1215 13s were granted to seventeen contributors by the Itai'.way Superannuation Board at its quarterly meeting to-day. Allowances to five widows and six children of deceased contributors were approved, involving an annual charge of £168, and £12 13s Td was ordered to be paid to members representinc; the difference between benefits received and actual contributions of 110 members of service who have resigned or have retired from various causes. Refunds of contributions were authorised totalling £3,050 17s sd.
