A CHINESE RAID.
POLICE ACTIVE AT NAPIER

Napier, July 10. The police raided a dwelling occupied by Chinese and believed to be used for gambling purposes. Nineteen Chinamen were caught participating in a game of chance. They were driven to the police station in a drag, and subsequently the majority were bailed out. The prisoners were remanded at the Court this morning.
