TVOTICE is hereby given that at t\ l^ Special Meeting of the Nelson City Council held on Friday; the 7th day of July, 1911, the following resolution was passed;— That in pursuance and exercise of the powers and provisions contained in "The Local Bodies Loans Act. 190&," "The Municipal Gor'p'drations Aet> 1908j" and "The Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 191U," and all other statutory powers if any there in that behalf enabling, the Nelson City Council . hereby resolves by way of Special Order as follows:— That for providing for the repayment of the loan of £4000 borrowed by the Nelson City Council for the purpose of constructing the Rocks Itdad a Special Loan of £4000 shall be raised by debentures of £100 each, bearing interest at a rate of not more that £4 10s. per cent per aiiriuni) and repayable at the expiration, of 50 years from the date of first issue-. A Sinking fund at the rate of thirteen shillings and fourpe,nce per cent, per .annum of the amount borrowed shall be provided for the repayment of tbo said special loan hereby .authorised to be raised. The security pledged for the said special loan and the jntereist.iind sinking funil, . thereof shall lie a special rate dl lliree farthings in the pound on the annual rateable value of all ratoablo properties in the City of Nelson. And notice is hereby also given that tlio said resolution will be subraiited to an ordinary meeting of the said Council to bo held at the City Council Chamber, Selwyn Place, Nelson, on the 4th day of August, 1911, at 7.30 p.m., fnr confirmation as a Special Order. Municipal Corporations Amendment Ast, 1910" and of all other statutory powers if any there in that behalf enabling, the Nelson City Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order as follows :— That a Special Loan be raised as follows:— 1. The particular purpose for which the said Loan is to be raised is for tile purpose of paying . off the amount owing from the said Council to the Bank of New Zealand by wa.y of overdraft oh the District I'und Account on tho 31st day of Marchi 1910. 2. The sum proposed to be borrowed for the said purpose is £20,937 '10s 2d. The Said Special Loan Shall be raised by debentures of £100 oach bearing interest at a rate of not more than £4 10s. per cent per' annum, repayable at the end of fifty rears from the date of the first issue. 3. The security proposed for such" Spcial Loan is a special rate of threepence halfpenny in the pound upon the -annual rateable value of all rateable property within the City of Nelson. It is proposed to provide a sinking fund of thirteen shillings and fourpence per cent, per annum for the repayment of the said loan. And notice is hereby also given that tho said resolution will be submitted to an ordinary meeting of the said Council to be held at the"City Council Chamber, Selwyn Place, Nelson, on the 4th day of August, 1911, at 7.30 p.m., for confirmation as a Special Order.
