Wellington, July 9. The non-commissioned officers who recently arrived from England have been posted as follows: Corporal ¥. H. Norris (Royai Horse Guards) assistant to the Brigade Sergeant Major, instructor to Canterbury Yeomanry Cavalry; S,ergeant V. C. S. Beef (2nd Dragoon Guards) Sergt.-Major ivto 3rd (Auckland) Mounted Ilifles; Sergeant C. L. Nicliolls (oth Lancsrs) Sorgt.-Major instructor to 6th (Maiiawatu) Mounted ltiiles; Sergt. S. Wood (3rd .Dragoon Guards) Sorgt.-Major instructor 1o Oth Mounted Kifles (Ofago Hupgars) ; Sergt. J. E. Partridge (3rd Battalion Worcester Regiment) posted to the Auckland district as Sfrgt.-Major instructor;. Sergeant J. Shortal (4th Battalion Leicester Regiment) posted to Otago district as Sergt.-Major instructor; Staff Sorgt.-Major Instructor Salt has been transferred from the Canterbury Yeomanry Cavalry to the Nelson Mounted Rifles, and Staff Scrgt.-Majbr C. G. Davis, from the Auckland Mounted. Rifles to I>hf» North Auckland Mounted Ilifles (Whangarei). Lieutenant Rassam, of the head-quarters staff, has been promoted to captain.
