WAKATU ASSOCIATION.

Last evening the Old Navals defeated the Nelson Rifles by 17 games to 8. Union team for Tuesday night, at 7 sharp: Leckie, Bachelor, James, Winter, King, Hughes, Hayes, Davenport, Stevens, F. Guy.

A cribbage match took place at Wakofield on Friday night in the Field Ambulance Corps' orderly room, between teams from the Wai-iti and Druids. Great interest was taken in this match as both teams contained some old tried players, but the Druids had to give in to the champion Wai-iti team, who have not lost a match this season, the result being Wai-iti 32, Druids 28 games. A very sociable evening was spent. Light refreshments wore supplied at the close of the match, the catering being in the hands of Mr. C. A. Burn, of the Druids. A return match is arranged for next Friday, the 30th.
