TOWED TO WELLINGTON,

Wellington, June 26

The steamer Takapuna, which was disabled at Westport last week, left that port in tow of the Komata at 10.18 last night, and berthed at the Clyde Quay wharf at 2 o'clock this afternoon. The journey was accomplished in good time, line weather being experienced. Tho Takapuna's rudder is 'lashed to the ship, but the extent of her damage is not known. She will shortly go on the slip for examination.
