WEATHER FORECAST.
Wellington, June 26. The following is the Rev. D. C. Bates' weather forecast and summary : Tho barometric pressure has risen steadily everywhere. The weather has been cold and changeable with lieavj showers in parts and hard frosts inland at night, and moderate to strong southerly winds have prevailed. 1 resent indications are for strong easterly winds north ward of East Cape and Kawhia and variable winds elsewhere; cold and changeable weather is probable generally with showers in parts, especially in the northern-most districts. "Barometric pressure is unsteady, especially in the northern districts", where a temporary fall is expected.
