WEDDING.
On Wednesday last, Juno 7th, Mr. David Leslie Drummond, eldest son of Mr. Thomas Drumrnond; was^mited in matrimony to D?lsie Euphemia Fowler youngest daughter of Mr. Samuel Fowler. The ceremony took pace in the Riwaka Presbyterian Church; and was performed by Mr. W. Wortley French. The church was prettily decorated and although there was licavy raii!f.".ll, quite a niiml):.'r were present to witness the ceremony. Mr. Ralph Isnte presided at the organ, and. played Hie Wedding March. The bride was attired1 in a.beautiful dress of silk voile trimmed with Milanese lace, and the usual wreath.and veil. The bridesmaid Miss L. Easdale, wore a dress of silk orepoline, with .a black hat. The best man was the brother of the bridegroom, Mr. O'ivor Drummond.
The. guests wove, afterwards entertained at the residence of the bride's parents, where the.usual toasts wcr^ honoured. The bridal party left early in th<i. nfternoori .en Ktute fdr the North Island for the.honeymoon. Tho bride's travelling dress was a navy blue costume with hat to match. The presents were both numerous and useful.
