STOKE RIFLES
On Saturday the 6th inst., competitions were held at the Brightwator i-.ir.^e for trophies presented by Mr. Mari'oid and/Captain Hammond, for "irst mid second class shots respectively. Private H. Warnock won the leg in for Mr. Harford's trophy, and Private V\ T. Kcnnin.'i secured his third ]eg in for Cn._ptain iiiuninoiKl's trophy and it now becomes hir, own property. Ap'leudrtl are the scores, seven shots at !>OO and 500 yards :—
There will be a competition at Brightwatcr to-morrow, seven shots at 300 and GOO yards.
