St Petersburg, May 16. A sensational trial of twelve persons has begun. The accused, who included Colonel Vladimir Voljarjarsky, lately Master of Horse at the Imporial Court and his adopted son. Dmitri Voljarjarsky, are accused of forging a will to secure for the colonel's adopted son the title and Polish estates of Prince Bogdan- Oginsky, who is childloss.

Dmitri confessed and told an amazing story of intrigue, mentioning that Catholic priests insisted on him promising to become a Catholic. Other prisoners include two noblomen, a lieutenant, a Catholic priest, and four lawyers.
