EXPLORATION IN EGYPT.
In tlie course of an interview at Johannesburg on March 10th, Pi' Carl Peters, the eminent explorer, stated that he had been lately in Egypt, working tip material and details for a book on Puncij the kingdom from which the Egyptians got their gold "bout 1600 H:C. Among these vert Hottentots, their huts being as booh on the Zambesi to-day. Shoba, he says, is undoubtedly the Sabi country. He hopes to interest German and English scientists sufficiently to take up ycicntifie excavations of the Sabi territory, which, he says, is full of anciont ruins and remains.
