FAIR—KELLING.

(From "Tho Colonist,." April 8.)

A wedding of local interest took place at St Peter's Church, Wellington, on Wednesday, when Miss Dora Evelyn Kelling, second daughter of Mr and Mrs E. C. Kolling, of Nelson, was married to Mr Janies Fair, second son of Mr J. W. Fair, of Westport. TheVen Archdeacon Harper was the officiating clergyman, and a largo number of friends were present. Mr Arthur Fair acted as best man, and the bridesmaid was Miss Ella Fair. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a brown velvet costume trimmed' with marmot fur, with toqueand furs to match. Tho bridesmaid wore a navy blue costume. The bride's mother was attired in a reseda coat and skirt with toque en suite, and tho bridegroom's mother wore a stylish black silk gown. After the ceremony a reception was held by the parents of the. bride* at the Royal Oak hotel when the usual toasts were honoured. Mr and Mrs Fair afterwards left Wellington with the intention of staying at various towns on the Manawatu and Main Trunk lines. A large number of presents testified to tho popularity of the young couple.
