WAIMEA COUNTY (Three Members).
The election of three members to represent the Waimea County on the Harbour Board resulted in the return of Messrs. P. Best, 232 votes; W. N. Franklyn 217 votes; and G. Macmahon, 182 votes. Mr. Franklyn has been a member of the Board since its inception, and Mr. Best has previously been, a member The unsuccessful candidates were Messrs. E. S. Hoult (who was s ;eking re-election), J. E. Bartlett, A. Drunimond, and P. Higgins. The details of tho polling are as follows :—
