NELSON COLLEGE OLD GIRLS' ASSOCIATION.
ANNUAL MEETING.
The annual meeting of the Kelson College Old Girls' Association was held at the Girls' College on Saturday evening. Miss Lorinier presided, and about thirty members were present. The annual report and balance sheet was read and.adopted. Inter alia the report mentioned thai about £18 worth of books had been obtained from Home for the College library, and. that a donation of £5 had been made towards the Pitt Memorial Fund. Seventeen new life members had been made during the year which brings the total up to 216. One guinea subscription entitles an old girl to become a life member of the Association. The balance sheet showed a credit balance of £46 15s 9d. Officers were elected as follows :— President, Mrs. Talbot; Vice-Presi-dents: Mesdames Evans, R. Harper, Kingsley, Dunne, Wilson, Theodore Harpetl, Misses TendaU and Lorimer; Committee: Miss K. Blechynden. K. B.olton, N. Gibbs, D. Judson, L. Kers'haw., Kirto'n, E. Moore, N. Rowe, J. Tomiinson ; Secretary and treasurer: Miss L. Hunter-Brown.. The secretary read a letter from the relatives of the late Mr. Brulis thanking old College girls for erecting a headstone to his memory. It is intended by old girls to plant a memorial tree in the College grounds to the late Mr. Brims, who was caretaker, etc., for many years.
The meeting closed with the customary vote of thanks.
