CONCERT. SOCIAL, AND DANCE.
There was a largo attendance last night at St. Mary's Hall, when a concert, social, and dance was given under the auspices of, the St. Mary's League. Football Club. Messrs. E, Uiehards, T. Condell,, G. Kirton, and Gascoigne contributed songs to the programme, of the. concert, while Messrs F. Hurley and Doyle gave recitations. . Miss M. Ward received a rcei!l for her violin, solo. Tho. Rev. Father Goggan at the close of the concert thanked the performers for their valuable assistance, and the audience for their patronage. A liberal supply of refreshments were provided by the Indies' committee, consisting of Mes-d-imes Kirton and Doyle, and Misses Armstrong, Stapp (2).' and Doyle. The club are greatly indebted to those ladies for the success of the arrangements. Eighty couples enjoyed tho dance, and Messrs. Housiaux and W. Ryder made very efficient masters of ceremonies.
