Mr. W. Spencer Hampson, who is seeking re-election as a City Councillor, outlines his policy ,which is a progressive one, by means of an advertisement in another column.

Mr. J. C. Mercer, a candidate for the City Council, and also for re-elec-tion as a member of the Harbour Hoard, by advertisement sets out his views on the most important questions of the day in connection with tho two bodies.

An open air meeting will be held -at the Church Hill stops this evening at 7.30, when Messrs G. Bishop, R. T). Martin and other candidates will address the electors.
