At a meeting of All Saint's Vestry last evening it was decided to apopint Mr. Norman Williams organist and choirmaster.

•Mr. 11. Baigeut, ex-Mayor of Nefsjou, leaves this morning for Wellington to join the Corinthic, which sails for London on Thursday. Mr Baigent, who will bo absent from the Dominion until the end of the year, will carry with him the wishes of his many friends for a pleasant holiday and a safe return.

M. Champion, the Auckland swimmer, who has been selected to compete in the Festival of Empire. Sports leaves for Wellington, by the Main Trunk train to-night, says an Auckland press wire, to catch the Corinthic at Wellington, provided a satisfactory sum is raised for the support of his dependents during his absence.
