WILLIAMSON OSSIPOFF COMPANY.

M. Eugene Ossipoff, the famous Russian operatic and dramatic baritone, whose singing lias created enthusiasm both in Europe and Australia, is booked for the Theatre Royal on Thursday and Friday, 30th and 31st of this month. Mr Russcill D. Martin will arrange the Nelson and Blenheim seasons, and all recitals will be under the direction of Mr W. H. Williamson. A rare treat may be expected, as Eugene Ossipoff is described as being the "greatest baritone of the day." The recitals given by Eugenic Orripoff at Christchurch caused tremendous enthusiasm, amd at the special request of a number of leading citizens a third recital was given, when Mr Ossipoff so delighted his audience that he had to respond to over a dozen encores. Eugene Ossipoff is said to be a born genius, having the soul, the voice and the personality to enthrall, impress and attract. Miss Renee Lees, his aecomtpanist, is a wonderfully gifted pianiste. The acco-mpanments, "some of which are solos in themselves, are all memorised. The supporting members of the company are solo artists of a very high reputation. The box plan wi'l open at Russell T). Martin's- music store, Bridge street, on Thursday morning at 9 a.m., when there will no doubt be a good demand for reserved seats.
