THE ROYAL ENGINEERS.
A RAILWAY CORPS
(Received March 15, 11.10 p.m.) London, March 15,
Mr Haldaue, during the Army debate, announced that Lord Kitchener and a. committee of exports would investigate the development of the Royal Engineers in specialised trades. He added that a construction corps consisting of 600 railway engineers would bo organised, together with a traffic corps of 1200 for handling tho railways in war time.
