ADMIRAL HENDERSON'S REPORT
CRITICISED
[Pbess Association— Copyright.] Sydney, March 15.
Admiral Henderson's report on Australian defences and his recommendations are widely criticised. It is generally recognised that the recomni3ndations are highly important, but that the enormous cost will be a stumbling block. Federal Ministers are reticent. Mr Pearce, Minister of Defence, sajs that the Government already has mOe a start by appointing a Nava] Boarl, and it will deal with other points as they arise.
