During the recent severa gales at the Solomon Islands the Govornnunt steamer Pelania was driven ashore <md totally wrecked. The crew cecaj-zil. The schooner Leveueuwa was ako totally wrecked on the Island of Santiana. The crew got safely ashore.
The storm did considerable) damage in tho group.
