VVanganui, March 14
The Supreme Court opened to-day before Mr. Justice Edwards. Thomp,sou, found guilty of theft, was sentenced to six months, with two years' reformative treatment. Two youths, Andrews and Dorcen, were fund guilty of forgery, uttering, and false pretences. Doreen was sentenced to one year's imprisonment and two years' reformative treatment. Andrews will be sentenced on Friday. Doreen is an ex-inmate of Burnham Industrial School

At the Supremol Court in. the aftetri!oon a verdict of guilty was returned i;i the ease of Para Babhingtan and Nga ronroa Nuku Nuku, charged with cattlo stealing. David Wright, charged with nsstui ting an old liian named Edward Hogaii, v.-as also found guilty. A list of iv previous convictions was handed in and tlio accused was sentenced to 12 iroiiths' imprisoiimc-Ht with hard iaK onr aiid nn additional three 3'oars' reformative treatment. The enso of James Behash, an Ass^liin hawker, charged with rape, is proceeding.
