The following is tho Rev. D. C Bates' summary and forecast :—
Warm and'hazy weather has provailed with moderate to strong northerly winds. Tho barometer has fallen everywhere, but very slowly. A stonr area appears to bo developing on tin ocean between Australia and New Zealand. Present indications are for a falling barometer everywhere, warm and hazy weather with increasing cloudiness preceding rain in all pnrt. of tho country.
