Of tho twelve candidates who presented themselves for examination for cadetships at tho Australian Military College, the following se\-en are successful:— W. I. K. Jennings (Canterbury), R. Miles (Canterbury). V. G. Jervis (Otago), C Carrington (Canterbury) W. N. M. Weir (Wellington), D. R. Carpenter (Auckland), E. Olliver (Canterbury). These have still to pass the final medical examination, and to be approved by tho general officer commanding the New Zealand Defence Forces. The remaining five who presented themselves did not attain the necessary qualifying standard.
