Mr Denhnm opened the aiiti-refVr-enda campaign here. He declared that there was a danger of unification being thrust upon tho people by stealth. An attempt was being made to cntrn.p them and deprive the States of their local powers. He appealed to the electors not to be browbeaten or bulldogged.
