[Press Association —Copyright.]
Paris, March 8,
The Chamber ha-s voted for two Dreadnoughts of the naval pro-
gramme. M. Jaurcis (Socialist) proposed that they be armed witli 13.Gin guns. But M. Delcasse, Minister of Marine, replied that 12.2 guns had the same penetrating power at 6000 metres as 13.5 guns at 9000 metres, but a target was so vaguely visible at 9000 metres that rarely wero ships able to profit by lang range filing.
